The politician was asked whether the West had stood up to military support for Ukraine. The Czech president regretted that the current supply of ammunition was not sufficient to allow Ukrainian troops to continue active hostilities.

“We have not kept our promises on the supply of artillery shells; the training of F-16 pilots is not progressing at the proper pace,” RIA Novosti quotes Pavel. He added that in the countries that support Kiev, uncertainty is growing and for the Ukrainians themselves this winter will be extremely difficult due to the destruction of infrastructure.

Pavel is sure that without support from other countries, the feeling of disappointment in Ukraine will increase.

The Czech politician added that this situation “is not very favorable” for the continuation of the offensive actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and also creates uncertainty that interferes with the military planning of the Ukrainian authorities.
