Previously, the country’s authorities said they spent $2.1 billion on aid to Ukraine last year, or almost half of its military budget.

At the same time, Western publications write that the Czech Republic faces difficulties in financing assistance to Ukraine, including military assistance. For example, in June, the country could barely find funds to contribute to the European Peace Fund, which finances assistance to kyiv.
