Crews of Mi-28N “Night Hunters” destroyed support points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

Army aviation pilots launched missiles at fortified points detected by units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to the publication. “As a result of combat use, the enemy’s control center and armored vehicles were destroyed,” the Defense Ministry added.

It is noted that during the special operation, army aviation performs the tasks of escorting convoys, destroying armored vehicles, delivering troops and military cargo, as well as supporting small units of the Russian Armed Forces.

It was previously reported that the Mi-28NM shot down a Ukrainian drone for the first time. The Russian helicopter acted according to the target designation of the field aircraft controller. The Ukrainian Armed Forces drone was destroyed by a 30mm aircraft cannon. To destroy the UAV, the Night Hunter pilot had to fire five bursts.
