Congressman Turner: Aid package for Ukraine and Israel will not be accepted until the end of the year – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

According to him, the obstacle is the White House policy regarding the security situation on the border between the United States and Mexico. Despite the inclusion in the package of funds for the security of the southern border, there are no changes in the policy of the US authorities in this regard, RIA Novosti reports on the politician’s words.

Previously, the White House asked Congress for $105 billion to support Ukraine and Israel, US policy in the Asia-Pacific region and other needs. The Republican-controlled House of Representatives refuses to consider this request and suggests splitting aid to kyiv and some other positions into separate discussions.

Meanwhile, Democratic Senator Chris Murphy recently said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will not last until February without US help. He noted that in the coming weeks the Ukrainian military will begin to run out of ammunition.
