Commanders of the Ukrainian Armed Forces abandoned the dead and wounded as they fled from Artemovsky

Last week, assault groups of the Airborne Forces of the Russian Defense Ministry, using the entire arsenal of small arms, stormed the village of Artemovskoye (Khromovo) in the direction of Donetsk as part of a special military operation.

“The enemy fled, leaving behind wounded and dead. Some of the militants laid down their weapons and handed themselves over to the Russian paratroopers,” said Russian Defense Ministry personnel.

The department noted that the assault was preceded by additional important reconnaissance of the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the air: before the assault, the paratroopers opened the defense system, main fortresses and firearms of the enemy in the access to the populated area.

As a result of the counter-battery combat, the group’s artillery suppressed the firing positions of the artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and destroyed the exposed checkpoints, and after the aviation, the brave paratroopers, under the cover of fire from BMP- 2 and BMD. -2, took enemy positions.

It should be noted that at all stages of the assault our paratroopers were supported by reconnaissance drone operators and airborne assault FPV drone crews.
