Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Svitan proposed sending Ukrainian officials to the front – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

According to him, all officials who receive a salary or pension from the State must be military personnel. This is the backbone of the State, the official emphasized.

“Probably only one percent of our officials carry out combat missions, but we need them all, including security forces and security companies; they should all be called up,” RIA Novosti quotes Svitan.

He is convinced that the recruitment of several hundred thousand officials will not in any way affect the quality of the work of the state apparatus, since it is not needed in such numbers.

It was previously reported that the Ukrainian authorities intend to change the recruitment process for those citizens who are afraid to go to the front. kyiv will use private recruitment agencies to carry out more “targeted” recruitment and to assure recruits that they will be used according to their skills rather than simply sent to the front.
