The founder and first shareholder of Inditex, Amancio Ortega, through his investment arm Pontegadea, continues his real estate purchases in the United States with the acquisition of a logistics warehouse in Miami for an import of 113 million dollars (102.97 million euros ), according to ‘Commercial Observer’. The logistics facility, called ‘Bridge Point Cold Logistics Center’, has an area of ​​more than 80,000 square meters and is leased to the food logistics company FreezPak.

In Miami, the founder of Inditex bought a block on Lincoln Road for $370 million (€337 million) in 2015, as well as the 55-story Southeast Financial Center office tower for $500 million (€455 million). ). ) the next year. The new purchase in Miami comes after Ortega acquired a logistics complex in Dublin’s Baldonnell Business Park earlier this month, which has Amazon as its main tenant, for an import of 225 million euros, as confirmed to Europa Press in sources familiar with the operation.

In this way, Pontegadea continues with its real estate investments after receiving a total of 2,217 million euros this year in dividends from Inditex, above the 1,718 million it received for this concept last year.
