During his two-day working visit to China, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko met with Chinese President Xi Jinping. As BELTA reports, the meeting of heads of state lasted 3 times longer than planned: almost 4 hours. About China:

After the meeting, the parties exchanged gifts. Aleksandr Lukashenko presented the President of the People’s Republic of China with an exclusive set of chocolates and a basket of Belarusian products, as well as the panel “My Belarus” and the sculpture “Friendship between Belarus and China.” One belt, one direction.” And the head of the People’s Republic of China presented his counterpart with Chinese apples and gave him a silk painting with Chinese mountain landscapes. Lukashenko’s son, Nikolai, received a tracksuit with Chinese symbols.
The official lunch menu included traditional dishes from both countries: Peking duck and potato pancakes, as well as exotic meat marbled with chestnuts, mixed mushrooms with vegetables and chrysanthemums, and lemon bavarois.
