Vyacheslav Ippolitovich Lyasetsky was born on July 9, 1940 in the village of Shakhty, Voroshilovgrad region. In 1967 he graduated from GITIS named after Lunacharsky. He worked in the youth theaters of Kalinin, Barnaul, Omsk, in the Ordzhonikidze Russian Republican Drama Theater in 1969-1979, then as an actor in the Ozersk Comedy and Drama Theater “Our House”. Since 1982 he combines his work as an artist with the position of director of the company.

The actor’s theater credits include Firs from Chekhov’s “The Cherry Orchard”, Famusov in Griboedov’s “Woe from Wit”, Baron in Gorky’s “The Lower Depths”, Sorin in “The Seagull”, Revunov-Karaulov in ” The Wedding” and other classic characters.

The obituary of the honored artist was published on his theater’s website. The cause of death has not been announced.
