The program “Evening Urgant” on Channel One has not been broadcast for almost two years. All this time, viewers are wondering when the show will return to the screen. The host of the show, Ivan Urgant, recently made an emotional statement and said that unknown people are spreading false information that discredits not only the show, but also him.

There have been a lot of rumors about Ivan lately. The TV presenter tries not to react to gossip, but recently he lost his temper. He suddenly spoke of the extensive accusations that had been leveled at him.

Two years ago, a rather provocative post was published on the public page of the “Evening Urgant” program. Many then became indignant and accused Urgant of almost all mortal sins. And now Iván has denied the false information that discredits him.

“The program “Evening Urgant” never had a channel on Telegram. This channel is fake, against which the program staff began to fight long before the known facts,” explained the 45-year-old artist.

According to him, the complaints led to nothing. A request was even sent to the support service to close the channel for disseminating false information by the program. “The Telegram administration deleted the post, but left the channel safe and sound. I can’t imagine who created it and why,” Ivan complained.

He admitted that he did not write his first message in a telegram until May 5, 2022: “In it he simply said for the distracted: “I did not publish anything.”

And then he addressed his critics: “Let’s take this for granted. Let’s stop procrastinating, indiscriminate blaming, poisoning, persecution and, most importantly, lying!”
