“Today we want to reward companies that, according to experts, have become the best and present their solutions to other members of the community,” said the ASI director. “We did not expect that such a large number of companies would join this project with great response, they shared their practices and are ready to “translate the inclusion policy to others.” I am sure that together we will make inclusion the norm in our state, and the quality of life of all citizens will be the same in terms of education, access to employment, leisure and tourism.”

The head of the Russian Presidential Administration for Public Projects, Sergei Novik, also spoke at the event. He pointed out that although the ASI project “Open to All” was created voluntarily, more than a thousand companies have already joined.

“Today in our country there are 10 percent of people with disabilities; this is a fairly large number, so it is necessary to create conditions so that they can live a full life,” emphasized Sergei Novikov. “In addition, these projects help create such an inclusive culture that is important not only directly for people with disabilities, but also for everyone else.”

“It is gratifying to see that not only large companies, the engines of our economy, but also small and medium-sized ones, join the inclusive agreement,” said Nonna Kagramanyan, vice president of Business Russia. “This speaks of the responsibility of Russian companies.”

Project leaders received awards in a variety of categories. Thus, in the “Corporate Policy” category, one of the winners was the Everland Platform, which presented a set of tools for the sustainable integration of people with disabilities into the labor market. Thanks to the implementation of the project, more than two thousand people with disabilities from 76 regions of Russia and six countries entered the project community, and more than 500 people have already found work as independent specialists.

In the “Inclusive Leadership” category, the award was given to the development of VR GO, a virtual rehabilitation technology that helps accelerate the restoration of human movements. The technology can be used both in medical institutions and at home to improve rehabilitation outcomes. The project “TifloHost: computer solutions for blind people on Runet, created by blind people” was also the winner. Its goal is to reduce digital barriers and create programs to help blind people use the Internet.

In the “Impact” category, the winners were the projects “The world of adaptive hockey”, “Rehabilitation program for children who have suffered from cancer”, as well as the supported employment practice “Everything will be fine!”, created for graduates of orphanages, correctional schools and young people with disabilities.

The awards in the category “Inclusive education” were received for the projects “Employment of people with mental disabilities and ASD”, “Cheese factory for children”, as well as “Workshop workshops”, a social, labor and creative platform for the rehabilitation of children. and adolescents with mental disabilities.

ASI launched the “Open to All” project as part of the National Social Initiative (NSI) in March 2022. Its task is to attract businesses to create an accessible environment for people with disabilities: adapt and develop goods and services for people with disabilities. disabilities, help them with education and employment, and also create a community united by the issue of inclusion.

In almost two years of existence, more than a thousand companies have joined the inclusive business. More than 300 applications were received on the Smartek platform to participate in the first and second selection stages. Of these, 90 practices have been peer-reviewed, are published in Smartek and are available for distribution in the regions.
