A mortar team of the Russian Armed Forces destroyed armored vehicles with commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Kupyansk – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

It should be noted that the military discovered the movement of two vehicles with officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. To achieve the objectives it was decided to use our own firearms.

The crew of the “walking” 120-mm 2B11 mortar quickly arrived at the firing point and, with the help of an observer, destroyed the armored vehicles in which the Ukrainian commanders were located, RIA Novosti reports.

The Ministry of Defense added that this type of combat work in the Kupyansk direction is carried out continuously: small targets are being identified, mainly pickup trucks and armored cars. The task is to keep the enemy in constant tension.

The shipper with the call sign “Altan” said that the crews were at an observation post and were conducting reconnaissance with an unmanned aerial vehicle. “When they find targets, they immediately give us instructions and coordinates, we go out and work on them,” the fighter added.
