Dikidzhi took the lead after the short program in the Czech Republic, beating reigning national champion Evgeniy Semenenko. – Not everything was done perfectly. I would rate the jumps and technique between 7.5 and 8 out of 10. I can do better. But I have problems with my components, I am very nervous and I cannot reveal my charisma during skating,” Dikiji explained to reporters. – But the grades for me are records. This is the first time I achieved 100 points.

Second place went to Evgeniy Semenenko (101.19). Dmitry Aliev came third (99.20). Both also have two quadruples at the box office.

Now Dikiji, as the leader, will have to skate last in the free skate.

Last year’s European champions and Russian champions Alexandra Boykova and Dmitry Kozlovsky, who left Tamara Moskvina’s headquarters in the off-season to go to Eteri Tutberidze’s group, scored only 78.95 points. This difference in ratings is due to the fact that Alexandra stepped up in the parallel circuit. As they say, defending a title is always more difficult than winning it.
