Actor of the film “The Geographer Drank the Balloon” Sergei Pepelyaev died at 32 – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

Sergey Pepelyaev was born and raised in Perm. At first he performed on the stage of the U Mosta Theater and in 2020 he came to the Tchaikovsky Theater of Comedy and Drama. In the fall of 2023, Pepelyaev moved to Tolyatti and arrived at the Wheel Theater. He managed to participate in the play “My wife is a liar”, where he got the role of a police officer. Pepelyaev was also supposed to perform in the production of “Sunless”, but due to a sudden illness he could not continue rehearsals.

In 2012, Sergei Pepelyaev, at the age of 20, starred in the film “The Geographer Drank the Balloon.” He played the tenth grade student Demenev. Filming took place in Perm. The film was released in 2013 and remained the only film in Sergei Pepelyaev’s filmography.
