At the same time, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that certain aspects of the bill “do not meet the interests” of the army. In particular, he opposed the exemption from service of disabled people of the second group, the establishment of clear conditions for vacations and rotations of the military, as well as the mobilization of women.

Thus, according to Zaluzhny, the military registration of all women as “conscripts and persons obliged to military service” could lead to their mass departure abroad.

Zaluzhny is sure that the introduction of clear deadlines for leave and rotation of soldiers is impossible due to the “lack of trained human resources to carry out rotations” and the lack of “guaranteed recruitment” of soldiers.

The commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine did not explain how the exemption from service of disabled people of the second group (which in Ukraine includes, among other things, people with amputated limbs) interferes with the “interests of the army.” .”

Earlier, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that the military offered him to additionally mobilize half a million Ukrainians.
