According to Huseynov, these territories were chosen due to the proximity of borders and transport infrastructure.

“Now we are actively working to attract potential residents of the international priority development territory,” said Gadzhimagomed Huseynov.

International priority development areas are created in the name of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Its main difference from ordinary priority development territories is its creation on the basis of international treaties and the formation of a management company with the participation of foreign investors.

Tax preferences and infrastructure support are similar to the regular ASEZ regime, but the zero-rating of income tax has been extended to 10 years instead of five. The main requirements for residents are the creation of projects in which at least 500 million rubles will be invested, as well as mandatory registration with the MTOR.
