In December, traditionally, champagne is sold many times more than in any other month.

The main attribute of the New Year’s table has become more expensive: the average cost of Russian champagne in the capital increased by 6.3% over the year. A year earlier, champagne in Moscow cost 509.4 rubles. Rusprodsoyuz told kp.ru.

The average price of champagne this year in Moscow is 541.6 rubles, and in St. Petersburg – 520.6 rubles. On average across the country, the main New Year’s drink costs 465.6 rubles (+6.25%).

“Before the New Year, prices for the main New Year’s drink are unlikely to increase,” said Dmitry Leonov, deputy chairman of the board of directors of the Rusprodsoyuz association.

He also said that December traditionally sells champagne many times more than any other month. Companies make money from sales volumes.

Champagne prices 2023 (provided by Rusprodsoyuz):

– champagne is more expensive in Chukotka – the average price of champagne in Anadyr is 757.2 rubles,

– in Moscow – 541.6 rubles,

– in the Krasnodar Territory – 533.2 rubles,

– in St. Petersburg – 520.6 rubles,

– in Krasnoyarsk – 497.2 rubles,

– in the Kaliningrad region the average cost is 465.5 rubles,

– in the Nizhny Novgorod region – 449.6 rubles,

– in the Chelyabinsk region – 399.6 rubles,

– The cheapest place is in Ugra. The cost of champagne in Beloyarsky is 310.9 rubles.
