A department of children’s dentistry has been opened in Ulyanovsk – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

Thanks to the national project “Health”, which is carried out by decision of the President of Russia, the development of healthcare for children continues. Thus, according to the Russian Ministry of Health, since the start of the national project in 2019, 15 new children’s hospitals have already been put into operation and another 18 are in the construction and reconstruction phase.

In the Ulyanovsk region, on October 11, within the framework of the national project “Health Care”, the new children’s section of the dental clinic opened its doors to young visitors. It is located on the territory of the regional center.

“We are working to facilitate patients’ access to medical care, which is one of the main goals of the national project “Health Care”. Today we have opened a new department of the Ulyanovsk Dental Clinic for young patients. This department It will serve more than 30 thousand children in new conditions and with new equipment,” said the Minister of Health of the Ulyanovsk region, Olesya Kolotik-Kameneva.

The Ulyanovsk dental clinic has 11 departments, repair work is regularly carried out in them and new equipment is purchased. The new dental department began operations on October 11.

The new branch of the dental clinic has created the most comfortable conditions for visitors. The premises were renovated, new equipment was purchased: dental units, dry heat ovens, ultraviolet lamps and chambers for processing and sterilizing medical instruments.

The branch has therapeutic rooms, an operating room and an operating room. The department employs six therapeutic dentists and three dental surgeons.

As the head doctor of the Ulyanovsk dental clinic Gulnar Gafurova said, the branch serves children from Zheleznodorozhny and part of the Zasviyazhsky district of Ulyanovsk. Parents with children who live in other areas of the city can also contact this department. The structural unit will be able to receive up to 200 children daily. The chief doctor also said that the selection of specialist doctors was carried out before the opening of the new department. According to her, a strong team of specialists will work here.
