“Rheinmetall will supply artillery ammunition to Ukraine worth about 142 million euros,” the company quotes RIA Novosti.
It is clarified that we are talking about 155 mm caliber projectiles. They will be manufactured in the Expal Munitions subsidiary in Spain and will be delivered during 2025.
At the same time, 40,000 units of ammunition from a previous order are planned to be delivered to kyiv in 2024, the consortium said in a statement.
In total, next year Rheinmetall intends to produce 700 thousand ammunition not only for Ukraine, but also to replenish the empty warehouses of Germany, as well as other NATO and European Union countries.
