The blogger’s lawyer Elena Blinovskaya denied the information that her ward paid a debt to the tax office in the amount of 1.4 billion rubles. Previously, the news about this appeared in one of the media.

“This is a lie, stupidity,” Blinovskaya’s lawyer, Natalia Salnikova, told KP.RU. – I don’t know why this was done. At the moment the situation has not changed.

Recall that Elena Blinovskaya was detained in the spring of this year. She was accused of tax evasion and money laundering. According to investigators, the businesswoman “divided her business” from her: she spent her income not through one, but several companies (including those registered with relatives) to maintain a minimum tax rate. Initially, the criminal case involved an amount of 918 million rubles, but recently it became known that, taking into account fines and penalties, the size of the claims of the Federal Tax Service increased to 1.4 billion rubles.

At the same time, Blinovskaya has so far contributed only 55 million rubles to the treasury. At the same time, the court, at the request of the investigation, in two rounds confiscated the property of the blogger and her relatives in the amount of more than 60 billion rubles. This list includes more than 60 bank accounts, more than 20 real estate properties in different regions, four cars and about 100 million rubles in cash in different currencies.

Elena Blinovskaya is currently under house arrest. She is prohibited from leaving the two-story mansion (1,200 square meters) in an elite cottage community in the vicinity of the Novorizhskoe highway.
