“Incredibly happy! Honestly, I was overwhelmed by so many emotions… The fact that the team won… I am proud of each of my partners, of each member of the team,” the press service of the Club.

Dzyuba added that his participation in the match was in doubt, but representatives from the medical center managed to get the player back to duty.

The striker noted that in the current RPL championship Lokomotiv defeated Zenit twice.

“Beating Zenit twice in one season is worth a lot. This shows that our team has character. And this team has a great future. This strengthens character,” he confides.

Dziuba added that many before the match said that Lokomotiv had no chance against the champions, which became an additional motivation.
