On Saturday it became known that the Olympic summit will be held on December 5 in Lausanne. However, so far the Russian Olympic Committee has not received any invitation to participate in it. The Secretary General of the Republic of China, Rodion Plitukhin, spoke about this.
The summit will discuss the participation of Russian athletes in the Paris Summer Olympics in 2024.
“The Russian Olympic Committee has not received invitations from the IOC to participate in the Olympic summit. Therefore, for the moment we are not going there,” Plitukhin said according to TASS.
On Saturday it also became known that the IOC plans to announce a decision on Russian and Belarusian athletes in March 2024.
