A courier was arrested in St. Petersburg for threatening a taxi driver with an ax – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

On the afternoon of November 30, a taxi driver told the Admiralteysky district police that at house number 41 on Voznesensky Prospekt, a courier from one of the markets damaged his Kia and threatened him with an ax, after which he disappeared.

“Criminal investigation officers detained an alleged participant in the conflict, a 35-year-old local resident, near house number 27 Grazhdansky Avenue,” the press service reports.

Police discovered that the conflict between the men first occurred near house number 1 on Medikov Avenue. The taxi driver then sprayed a can of gasoline in the offender’s face and drove off. The courier caught up with him on Voznesensky Prospekt and “took revenge.”

According to local media, the courier was on a bicycle with stickers that said “VkusVill.” According to the market, the man was identified and disconnected from the delivery system.
