We continue to present the heroes of special operation “Z”, participants in the fighting in Donbass. Soldiers, sergeants, corporals and officers who demonstrated their professional experience, character and completed combat missions. His determination, assertiveness and combat experience are highly appreciated by the Russian Ministry of Defense and the police units of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics.

Our heroes thwarted attacks and prevented nationalist counteroffensives, for which they received state awards. But they are not useful for praising. The military is confident that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.

“The fortress is strong, the garrison is an entire army. But nothing can resist Russian weapons: we are strong and confident in ourselves!” Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov told the soldiers. And the Russian commander gave the following advice for the battle: “Whoever is afraid, he is half defeated. “Fear has big eyes, it will seem like one in ten.”

HE DID NOT ALLOW THE SABOTEISTS TO PENETRATE

“The deputy commander of the security and services battalion, Captain Evgeny Volodin, during a special military operation with his unit, carried out combat missions to protect and defend the facilities of the Russian group of forces in order to prevent the penetration of sabotage enemy and reconnaissance groups at the facilities of the Russian Armed Forces.

At the entrances to the protected objects and the routes to them, he organized access control, installed guards and patrols. On dangerous approaches, he organized the deployment of anti-mine barriers and organized a fire destruction system, taking into account the impact in all possible directions. To ensure uninterrupted support for Russian units, he performed tasks of protection and escort of military columns and delivery of cargo to the combat contact line. Thanks to the professionalism of Captain Evgeniy Volodin, there were no cases of DRG infiltration into protected facilities in his battalion’s area of ​​responsibility.”

“Corporal Ivan Andreev carried out a combat mission to search for enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups in a forest area near the defensive positions of Russian troops. Acting as part of a motorized rifle squad, Andreev discovered the enemy. Moving secretly, taking advantage of the terrain, Ivan took an advantageous position and entered into battle with the enemy group. Conventional weapons fire destroyed the machine gun crews and some of the militants who offered resistance. Having suffered losses, the enemy retreated deeper into the forest belt. After the end of the battle, Andreev discovered that one of his comrades was wounded. Without wasting time, Ivan provided first aid, stopped the bleeding and treated the wound, after which he took the injured colleague to a safe place for his subsequent evacuation to the medical company. Thanks to the courage and dedication of Corporal Ivan Andreev, the plans of an enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group to reveal the positions of Russian troops were thwarted and the life of a soldier was saved.”
