This year, as in 2021, the hotline of Russian President Vladimir Putin will be combined with the final press conference, everything is planned for December 14. But, apparently, the message to the Federal Assembly should not wait until December 31.

From the “Results of the year with Vladimir Putin” (this is now the official name of the December event at which the president gives answers to urgent and important questions), many are waiting for the president’s main statement. The fact is that literally one day before, on December 13, the Federation Council must announce the specific date for the March presidential elections. The Kremlin previously said: Putin does not plan to make any statements about his plans to be re-elected for a third consecutive term until senators make a decision. Well, the “results of the year” seem like a good time for self-nomination…

What to expect from the “Results of the year with Vladimir Putin”

But, of course, on the 14th, Vladimir Vladimirovich will talk not only about the impending vote… The head of the executive committee of the Popular Front, Mikhail Kuznetsov, explained to Komsomolskaya Pravda how everything should go.

– Starting at 8 am on December 1st we will begin accepting questions. You can call the number: 8-800-200-40-40, or contact through the website. In recent years we have received 3 million requests for hotlines,” Kuznetsov said.

– What are the three most popular topics that people complain about?

– First of all there is the communal apartment: either there is no heating, or the repairs at the entrance were done poorly or they do not want to admit that the building is not safe. Complaints about health and social services come in second and third place. Some people don’t want to get treatment, others can’t get benefits. We have already talked about the story of when the school refused to feed the children of an SVO fighter. Supposedly there was no certificate from her father that he was at the front…

– Is it normal that millions of people have to solve generally everyday problems by complaining directly to the president?

– We have a huge country. Let’s take the same communal apartment: the conditions are different everywhere. It happens that utility companies simply go bankrupt. So we solve such atypical situations. It happens that a long time ago a local water company was privatized and private owners began to abuse…

– How do you plan to select the questions? It is clear that it is impossible to specify all the millions of requests.

“The joint editorial group will select the most urgent topics, propose them to our leader, and then, naturally, the decision will depend on Vladimir Vladimirovich, what he will choose and what he will answer,” Kuznetsov answered KP’s question.

Apparently, direct inclusion of random people is not expected, as in the past. It is planned to select the questions before the live broadcast. And the explanation is simple: the organizers fear provocations from Ukraine.

– 100% the enemy will fight against us. Surely there will be false reports, but we will not allow them to interfere with the event,” Kuznetsov said.

The head of the Popular Front told how Ukrainians tried to sabotage an application for tracking drones. There have been tens of thousands of attempts to register for the service. The verification was carried out via SMS, which was paid for by the NF itself. Kuznetsov calmly admitted that the organization “made a little mistake” in paying for these messages.

The Popular Front assured that all the Russians’ complaints will be verified. Yes, during a live broadcast of the president generally only 50 to 60 topics can be discussed. But NF volunteers will check the hundreds of thousands of remaining applications over the coming months.
