The Russian Defense Ministry inaugurated the first regular training ground in the Northern Military District

The DPR opened the first full-time training camp for military personnel. In the zone of the Northern Military District there is now a tank training range, a tank director, a shooting range and an infantry fighting vehicle director. The conditions at the new range allow the training of all types of troops.

“The polygon was created taking into account the experience of carrying out a Special Military Operation. The conditions are as close to combat conditions as possible. For this, mobile targets, trenches, appropriate terrain and other conditions were created,” Colonel General Ivan Buvaltsev said at the inauguration.

The training ground is equipped with modern barracks and a mess hall.

“The territory covers about 20 hectares and includes places for training gunners, tank crews, snipers, attack aircraft, grenade launchers, machine gunners and other military specialists,” listed the head of the construction department of the military construction complex of the Ministry of Defending. of the Russian Federation, Sergei Arbatov.

For their participation in the construction of the training ground, Colonel General Ivan Buvaltsev presented the servicemen of the military construction complex with departmental medals and certificates.
