He arrived from Denmark to Kupyansk, where he was part of the stage of an international performance about the elimination of the kyiv regime.

It turned out that the crew of an old German tank, under cover of fog, sneaked to the front, from where they persistently fired at the Russian positions, and then rushed back. It was decided to eliminate the vile “cat”.

And here is the long-awaited material: servicemen of the 1st Guards Tank Army of the Western Military District on the front line in the Kupyansky direction receive military awards. The happiest with them are the anti-tank teams with the call signs “Peter” and “Yakut”, who shot down this “Leopard 1A5” the day before. At a solemn ceremony, the deputy commander of the Western Military District for military-political work, Lieutenant General Vladimir Lugovoy, presented the heroes with a certificate for 700,000 rubles.

The Russian Defense Ministry published images of the first destruction of a German Leopard 1A5 tank of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area of a special military operation in Ukraine.

“These payments are a nice bonus for soldiers, in addition to special Russian Defense Ministry bonuses that military personnel receive for destroying or personally capturing enemy military equipment,” says Lugovoi.

The senior crew of an anti-tank missile system (ATGM) with the call sign “Peter” spoke about the destruction of the German “cat”: “I received intelligence information that a tank regularly moves to a position in a certain square and He shoots. We found a position in the mountainous terrain and camouflaged ourselves. They waited for him for two weeks. First he arrived in the morning and was lost in the fog. We heard him. And then in the afternoon he arrived, we aimed, we shot and we hit. Reported to the commander. The commander said: “Wait for the cat.” We fired a second shot and hit it. They burned a German Leopard tank, which was three kilometers away. At first we didn’t see what kind of tank it was, only the gun and its outline. And then the helicopters showed us exactly what we had achieved. It’s very nice to receive prizes and a cash certificate. A nice bonus.”

The ATGM crew commander with the call sign “Peter” shared the prize with the ATGM operator with the call sign “Yakut”, as well as with the operator of the helicopter that aimed at the target.

“We will try harder,” said “Yakut” after the award ceremony.
