In Altai, the body of a disabled child was found in a river – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

“Following the death of a minor in the village of Nizhnekamenka in the Altai region, a criminal case was opened for causing death by negligence,” said Olga Chesnokova, deputy director of the investigation department of the RF IC. The boy was walking with his mother in the yard of a private house, and when the woman left, he “left in an unknown direction. Later, the boy’s body was found in the Kamenka River with no signs of bodily injuries.”

Investigators are working at the scene, establishing all the circumstances of the tragedy. An examination must determine the exact cause of his death.

The Prosecutor’s Office of the Altai Territory also launched an investigation into this incident. According to regional deputy prosecutor Maria Antoshkina, the investigation of the criminal case is under prosecutorial control.
