Russian diplomats are in contact with local law enforcement regarding media reports of the murder of two Russian women in Bodrum.

The KP.RU website already reported that the bodies of two Russian citizens, Irina Dvizova and her 15-year-old daughter Dayana, were found in the mountains near the popular Turkish resort of Bodrum.

Irina, who worked as a real estate agent in Bodrum and stopped communicating five days ago. Concerned relatives contacted police, who found traces of blood in the house rented by the missing woman. The route of the car that left the house was determined through CCTV cameras. According to Turkish media, the bodies of Irina and her daughter, wrapped in sheets, approximately 3 meters away from each other, were found on a steep slope next to the road.

As the 20-year-old son of the murdered Russian woman told RT, the crime was committed by his stepfather, Lithuanian citizen Andrei Kushlevich. According to the young man, her mother did not allow him to communicate with their 5-year-old common son. The woman intended to deprive her ex-husband of her parental rights through the courts: “This is a complete animal, he hit me with a towel so that there would be no traces, he strangled me,” says Irina’s son.

The last time he spoke to his mother and sister was on Thursday and he didn’t notice any disturbing thoughts between them. According to the young man, Kushlevich arrived in Bodrum, entered the house where Irina lived and shot her and her daughter.

According to Mash, the alleged killer was arrested in Moscow in 2017 at the request of authorities in Monaco, where he worked as a security guard for a local oligarch and stole jewelry. After the court granted the extradition request, the man was handcuffed to a van and taken to a pretrial detention center, but he was able to break the lock and escape. He is currently wanted in the Russian Federation.

As KP.RU was informed at the Russian Consulate General in Antalya, Russian diplomats, in connection with media reports about the murder of two Russian women in Bodrum, are in contact with local law enforcement agencies to verify this information. .

“Once the necessary information has been received, the Consulate General will provide additional comments on this situation,” the diplomatic mission reported.
