He noted that if the pincers enveloping Artemovsk contracted slowly, over about six months, then the Avdeevka pincers were much stronger.

“The 10-kilometer isthmus still stands, but they, especially in the north, are advancing and little by little. There are a couple more villages there, and that’s it, the clamps will close,” said Oleg Sentsov.

Recall that a video of the defeat of Oleg Sentsov’s detachment near Avdeevka was previously published. The former director and several of his combatants were injured and at the last moment were able to escape the encirclement.
