American businessman and billionaire Elon Musk has long been perceived internationally as practically a political leader, albeit a virtual state: the social network X (ex-Twitter). For this reason, Musk was personally invited to visit Israel by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who accompanied the businessman during his trip. They visited the Kfar Azeh kibbutz, whose residents suffered the most during the Hamas attack on October 7. Several dozen people died here.

Just after landing in Tel Aviv, Elon Musk wrote on his X account: “Actions speak louder than words.” Apparently, in this way the billionaire decided to appease those who suspected that social network X supported anti-Semitism. The accusations against the platform’s management led dozens of big brands to suspend their advertising on the social network X, accusing Musk of inciting hatred.

Netanyahu and Musk wore bulletproof vests during their visit to the kibbutz. The Israeli prime minister said he brought the billionaire here specifically “to show him the crimes against humanity committed by Hamas.” They were accompanied by soldiers from the Israel Defense Forces, who revealed to the businessman the details of the massacres in Kfar Aza. And Netanyahu, in turn, showed footage of a militant attack on a kibbutz.

Musk was also told the story of 4-year-old Avigail Idan, who previously lived with her parents in Kfar Aza. Avigail is the daughter of the late Ynet photojournalist Roi Idan. The girl’s parents were killed during a Hamas attack. The father was shot while he held Avigail in her arms. The militants took the baby herself to the Gaza Strip. On November 26 she returned home as part of a hostage exchange.

Netanyahu and Musk also discussed the future of the Gaza Strip. The Israeli Prime Minister stressed that his main priority today is the neutralization of Hamas, after which we will talk about the restoration of Gaza.

“First we have to get rid of this poisonous regime,” Netanyahu said.

Musk agreed to this and offered to participate in post-war reconstruction.

“I think it is logical that those who intend to commit murder should be neutralized, then the propaganda should stop… and then the prosperity of Gaza should be ensured,” Musk said. – I’d like to help.
