The department highlighted that one of the reasons for the protests of Polish transporters is Kiev’s introduction of an electronic queuing system, which has significantly increased the waiting time for EU cars crossing the border between Ukraine and Europe and return from Ukraine without cargo.

“This leads to the inability to fulfill more orders and a decrease in the competitiveness of companies,” the ministry said.

Recall that on November 6, Polish transporters began to block automobile checkpoints on the border with Ukraine. As of November 21, the queue of trucks at the border exceeded 50 kilometers. Additionally, two Ukrainian drivers died while queuing at the checkpoint. kyiv is preparing claims for compensation for damage caused by the blocking of car checkpoints on the border with Poland.
