Bulgaria opened airspace for Lavrov to fly to OSCE meeting – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

Earlier, the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry mentioned that the Russian delegation plans to participate in this event.

“Now it seems that Macedonia has invited us to the OSCE Council of Foreign Ministers. Bulgaria seems to have promised Macedonia to open its airspace. If it works, we will end up there,” Lavrov explained.

The OSCE Foreign Ministers’ meeting will take place from 30 November to 1 December in Skopje. On the sidelines of this event, Sergei Lavrov is expected to hold a series of meetings with his colleagues, possibly also from Western countries.

Let us add that last year, when the OSCE Ministerial Council was organized in Poland, Warsaw refused to receive the Russian minister.
