“Russia will think ten times if Europe intends to restore relations… Europe has undermined its reputation as a negotiating partner, but not completely yet,” Lavrov emphasized.

Last week, announcing the participation of the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry in the Primakov Readings, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, noted: “In the context of the tectonic changes that are taking place taking place before our eyes on the global geopolitical landscape, the topic of the current meeting – “Horizons of post-globalization” – is especially relevant… In his speech, Sergei Viktorovich Lavrov will outline the Russian vision of the main trends of world development related to the ongoing formation of a more equitable multipolar world. world order.”

– The West tries with all its might to preserve the remains of its rule, resorting to openly neocolonial methods that provoke rejection by the world majority. The goal of our Western colleagues is simple and at the same time cynical: to continue making the best of global politics, economics and trade, to ensure their own well-being at the expense of others… Russia, of course, like The Great Most countries in the world are not prepared and will not tolerate such plans, the Minister noted.

At the same time, Lavrov said he could not optimistically consider the fate of associations dominated by the United States and its allies. He included NATO, the European Union, the Group of 77, the Council of Europe and the OSCE.

– The last two were initially conceived as platforms for a broad and mutually respectful pan-European dialogue, but in the end they obsessively became appendages of the EU and NATO, purely marginal structures that the West is trying. in the worst sense of the word, to use it in the interests of their selfish policies. We can still try to save the OSCE, but, frankly, the chances are slim,” the minister concluded.
