On Monday morning, a collision between a minibus and a car occurred in Izhevsk, on Molodezhnaya Street. According to preliminary data from the traffic police, the driver of the minibus did not maintain a safe distance and collided with a Suzuki Grand Vitara that was traveling in front.

“As a result of the accident, the passengers of the bus, women born in 1973, 1976 and 1986, as well as a passenger in the car, a woman born in 1956, were injured. The circumstances of the incident are being established,” the traffic officer said. the police said.

Later, the Ministry of Health clarified that the ambulance service transferred five victims to the first republican clinical hospital. They suffered moderate and minor injuries, explained the vice president of the regional government, Elvira Pinchuk, responsible for health care in the region.

Three additional participants in the accident required medical assistance at the scene of the accident, but these people refused hospitalization.

The day before, the Ministry of Emergency Situations warned about unfavorable weather conditions in the region and the need to be careful on the roads: fog, freezing rain and ice reached the republic.
