The Barcelona-Figueres line suffers delays due to a breakdown in the signaling system

The high-speed train line that connects Barcelona with Figueres Vilafant, in the province of Girona, has been affected by a breakdown today, Monday. Specifically, a failure has been recorded in the signaling system on the Mollet-Barcelona Sants section of this line.

The incident with the signaling system has caused delays in the usual schedule of rail services on the line, on which trains from two different operators circulate.

Railway sources have informed Efe that Adif technicians have already been sent to the area where the incident occurred and have proceeded to repair it. After solving the fault, traffic will be able to return to normal on the roads of this section.
