A domestic dispute sent one to prison and the other to the next world.

Many professional boxers in the United States consistently end up on criminal reports because they lead a dangerous lifestyle. Some constantly get into conflicts involving fights and shootings, others get into accidents while drunk. It may be difficult to find top-level boxers who have not been seen in situations like this. But the day before, tragic news arrived that once again demonstrates the danger of such a way of life.

Gervonta Davis’ career was in great danger due to problems with the law:

“Between the prison and the ring.” The hope of American boxing is on the brink!

Several publications reported that the American boxer of Liberian origin Samuel Tee (19-5-1, 8 KOs) had died. According to media reports, the cause of the tragedy was an internal conflict. T has a son with a woman with whom he already ended his relationship. He got a new boyfriend, who had an altercation with Samuel. It all ended disastrously: the competitor pulled out a gun and shot Ti several times. The boxer died from his injuries. Samuel was 36 years old.

He could hardly be called the hope of American boxing. He began his professional career in 2013 and competed exclusively in the junior welterweight division (up to 63.5 kg). The boxer did not receive big tournaments, but in small events he showed great results, as indicated by his professional history. During his professional career, Tee met famous prospects Montana Love and Brandan Lee, however, he lost to both of them. But in March 2023, Tee pulled off the upset and inflicted the first defeat of his career on Georgian fighter Enrico Gogokhia (13-1-2, 8 KO). But unfortunately, his path was tragically interrupted.

A strange story from the life of the Floyd family:

Mayweather’s daughter was involved in a stabbing, but avoided a real sentence. What’s going on?!

Unfortunately, the crime rate in the United States is already high. And the permit to carry weapons only aggravates the situation even more. Interestingly, many professional boxers and MMA fighters still insist that this is correct. For example, this is almost always mentioned by UFC champion Sean Strickland, who, by his own admission, always carries knives with him. It is sad that the situations that arise take people’s lives.

On the night of November 1 of last year, the life of undefeated American boxer Shakur Stevenson was divided into a before and after. He lost his friend and miraculously survived the shooting. He was less fortunate: he could not avoid the tragedy. We can only hope that this sad story becomes a lesson for the future of many professional athletes. Excessive arrogance can deprive not only his career, but also his life.
