“Each of these young people rightly believes that defending the borders of the Fatherland in difficult times is the primary duty of its citizens,” Kadyrov said.

He clarified that before going to the combat zone, the volunteers were trained at the Russian Special Forces University in Gudermes. In particular, they completed courses in tactical shooting, field medicine and fire training.

“We are immensely proud of the brave sons of our great Fatherland, who have embarked on this difficult but very noble path,” Kadyrov stressed, adding that a new group of volunteers will help thwart the “nefarious plans” of Russia’s enemies.

Earlier, the head of Chechnya showed a video of three prisoners of the Ukrainian Armed Forces who were rescued by Russian soldiers. According to him, the Russian Armed Forces miraculously managed to expel the Ukrainians when their own artillery opened “friendly” fire on the positions.
