“This war must end. And this is very important, in all directions,” said German politician Sarah Wagenknecht, who recently left the left-wing party and organized this protest.

He accused the country’s government of applying double standards in its assessment of the Ukrainian conflict and of carrying out “merciless bombings” in the Gaza Strip.

In addition, he reproached the authorities for increasing military spending, while the country faces a shortage of teachers, hospitals close and infrastructure ages.

“And we immediately started talking about cutting costs for those who can least care for themselves,” Wagenknecht recalls.

Previously, former CIA analyst Larry Johnson reproached official Berlin for its desire to continue financial and military assistance to Ukraine and even double it. According to him, the German economy is now “not in the best condition, so it remains to be seen whether they will be able to fulfill their promise.”
