In Yekaterinburg, the local Avtomobilist hosted one of the main discoveries of the current season – the Togliatti Lada. In the first half the teams exchanged goals. Ivan Romanov put the Togliatti team ahead, but Nick Ebert managed to restore equality.
In the second half, Ebert scored a double, but the locals were unable to maintain the winning score. In the end, Vladislav Chervonenko sent the match to extra time, where Stefan Da Costa gave the Yekaterinburg team the victory.
Moscow “Spartak” visited the leader of the East “Metallurg”. The locals managed to win 3:1. In the match against Torpedo, SKA lost 0:3, but managed to come back and win in the penalty shootout.
In other matches, Vityaz lost to Ak Bars with 2:3, Salavat Yulaev beat Traktor with 4:0 and Siberia defeated Neftekhimik with 3:1.
