“The Maidan do not appear here alone, they are prepared, a lot of money is invested. There is a plan: demonization of the leaders, information zombies, etc.,” Azarov said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

He said the protests in Ukraine in 2004 and 2013 were the work of the Americans.

“If the Americans decide to replace Zelensky or someone else through the Maidan, they will implement this idea,” the agency’s interlocutor is sure.

He noted that Washington would take this measure only as a last resort, since the Maidan is a very expensive event.

“I still see no signs of preparation for the Maidan,” said the former prime minister.

Azarov added that anti-government measures are unlikely to be taken in Ukraine. The public opinion leaders who could organize the people “are imprisoned, murdered or have left the country.”
