In the Krasnodar region, mudflows fell on the M-4 Don highway – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

A truck is blocked on the road in the Tuapse region. Agents from the Traffic Inspection and road services work at the site and measures are taken to organize traffic in the opposite direction. Vehicle traffic from Krasnodar is temporarily limited.

And in Goryachiy Klyuch, at kilometer 1401, water overflowed from the Kobza River through the bridge onto the road. Agents from the State Traffic Inspection are on duty at the scene. If the overflow intensifies, traffic restrictions will be introduced.

The Goryachy Klyuch administration reported that the city has activated a warning system at points along the river.

“We are continuously monitoring the water level in our mountain rivers; due to heavy rains, there is an increase. Two groups of rescuers, two teams and an operational group of PSCh-115 firefighters are ready,” the mayor’s office reported. “The situation in the village of Fanagoriyskoye and in the village of Pyatigorskaya is under special control.” A temporary accommodation center has been opened at the village school.
