Political scientist Zolotarev: Not even the United States will be able to close the hole in Ukraine’s budget – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

He expressed the view of economists who maintain that, at best, only a quarter of the hole in Ukraine’s budget has been closed, something for which kyiv can find resources. “We are missing 40 billion, the optimists say 29, the pessimists say 40. Where can we get these resources? I don’t think the United States can close this hole,” the expert is quoted by RIA Novosti.

Zolotarev added that although Western countries have postponed military and financial assistance to kyiv, it is still worth waiting for. However, the volume of attendance will upset many as it will be significantly reduced. The political scientist called on Ukrainians to “be prepared.”

Previously, former French diplomat Gerard Harault said that the West could stop helping Ukraine due to its own problems, thus accelerating kyiv’s defeat.
