Trudeau spoke in parliament, where he said that “we are trying to gather information and we are talking to the United States.”

He also warned that the issue of “introducing additional security measures at all border points after the incident” is being considered.

It was previously reported that a car heading to the United States exploded on the bridge over Niagara Falls on the US-Canada border. According to the FBI, two people traveling in one of the cars died. A US border guard was also injured.

Canadian authorities have decided not to rush to publicize possible versions of the incident, but the FBI has already suggested that it is a terrorist attack and the situation is “very serious,” writes the AP agency.
