WSJ: Israeli intelligence services have planned multi-year campaign to eliminate Hamas leaders – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

As the publication writes, “conditions will be created for a multi-year campaign to search for them (Hamas leaders – RG note). Search plans extend to Lebanon, Türkiye and Qatar. Now, the publication clarifies, Israel is working to capture and eliminate the leaders of the movement in Gaza.

Previously, the publication wrote that Israeli authorities accuse Yahya Sinwar, who is serving time in an Israeli prison, and the commander of Hamas’s military wing, Mohammed Deif, of coordinating the attack on Israel on October 7.

In late November, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the Mossad intelligence service to attack Hamas leaders wherever they were.
