According to a report of the Times of India citing the Russian media Moscow Times, on Monday (August 26) morning local time, Ukraine launched a drone attack on a 38-story high-rise building in the city of Saratova in the southwestern part of Russia. The video of this attack has already spread on social media.
According to the report, the name of the high-rise in Saratov, Russia, which was attacked by Ukraine, is ‘Volga Sky’. It was the tallest building in the city.
The video shows a Ukrainian drone attack on a high-rise building in Saratov. A part of the building caught fire in a moment. At the same time, several drones were seen flying a short distance away from the building.
Ukraine’s drone attack on Russia’s Volga Sky building was modeled after the September 11, 2001, al-Qaeda airstrike on the World Trade Center in the United States. The building was heavily damaged in the attack. Two people are reported to have been seriously injured so far.
Russia-Ukraine war has been going on since 2022. Instead of a break in the two-year-long war, counter-attacks have escalated. Civilians are greatly affected by this.
