The United Arab Emirates (UAE) will not accept the presence of Israeli forces after the end of the war in Gaza. Abu Dhabi will not support any post-war plan of Tel Aviv except the creation of a Palestinian state.

Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the country’s foreign minister, made such a comment on social media X on Saturday (September 14). According to Qatar-based media Al Jazeera.

He said that the government should be formed under the leadership of the Palestinians to ensure the aspirations, independence and sovereignty of the Palestinian people. And in that case Emirates is ready with full support.

In May, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a roadmap for post-war governance in Gaza. He highlighted various investment plans including port construction, solar panel-electric vehicle manufacturing plant.

These programs will continue till 2035 in three phases. The UAE did not know anything about Israel’s plan, the country’s foreign minister claimed.
