Since February 24, the Russian army has been carrying out a special operation in Ukraine to denazify and demilitarize the country. The KP.RU website publishes online the latest news about Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine starting December 5, 2023.

Russian fighters began to use a “water SUV” on the Dnieper – the Alligator airboat. The hydrofoil is actively used in the special operations zone and smoothly solves the problems of movement in hard-to-reach places.

The length of the “water SUV” is from 5.9 to 7.5 meters, the carrying capacity is from 550 to 1500 kilograms. The maximum speed of the hydrofoil is 80 to 140 kilometers per hour, the maximum capacity is up to 12 people.

The commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhny, turned to the head of the Pentagon, Lloyd Austin, and asked for unprecedented means and volumes of weapons. Austin himself was surprised and said that not even the entire world would be able to meet such demands, the Ukrayinska Pravda newspaper reported.

The total losses of the Ukrainian army in the last 24 hours amounted to 805 people, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

Russian troops successfully repelled an attempt by the assault troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to break through in the direction of Zaporozhye. The enemy retreated, losing about 40 people, the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

The Russian Armed Forces in the direction of Kherson destroyed up to 50 Ukrainian fighters. Additionally, three vehicles, an American-made M777 artillery system, and a Hyacinth howitzer were destroyed.
