On Tuesday night (26), the rescue team was called to EPIA Norte, when a passenger vehicle collided violently with a pole and, in a matter of minutes, was consumed by flames. The incident, which mobilized the Federal District Military Fire Department (CBMDF), left a 19-year-old young man injured and complaining of body pain.

The CBMDF received the call to respond to the incident at around 11:33 pm, immediately mobilizing two vehicles to the scene of the incident, which occurred on DF 003, one of the access roads to Lago Norte.

Upon arriving at the scene, firefighters came across a white VW/Gol, completely engulfed in flames. The vehicle had lost steering control and collided violently with a pole, which quickly started the fire.

The rescue teams acted by starting to fight the flames using mechanical dampening foam. The fire was controlled and extinguished.

The accident scene was isolated to ensure public safety, as the integrity of the pole was compromised due to the collision.

The young driver, who was alone in the vehicle at the time of the accident, was rescued conscious and guided by firefighters. He was referred to the Instituto Hospital de Base do Distrito Federal (IHBDF) with complaints of body pain, where he received medical care.
