District Rogério Morro da Cruz managed to urgently process his project that creates Disk Bullying. That’s right, an ingenious system for reporting bullying, a plague as old as education and to this day something hellish for many children.
According to Rogério Morro da Cruz’s project, educational establishments in public and private networks must install a free customer service, through a telephone line or digital channels, designed to receive reports from students who are victims of bullying.
All complaints must be forwarded to the competent bodies of the Executive Branch, in order to ensure the proper investigation of the facts and the forwarding of appropriate administrative and criminal measures.
And, as an important precaution, confidentiality regarding the identification of the complainant is ensured, under penalty of sanctions provided for in Law No. 8,069, of July 13, 1990, the Child and Adolescent Statute, and other current regulations. It is a guarantee that the complainant and the whistleblower will not be identified.
The district even cites an IBGE survey that points to Brasília as the national capital of bullying, as 35.6% of the students interviewed said they were frequent victims of this type of aggression.
